A sus 55 años, nacido en el 55, y con mucho más que 55 éxitos musicales, el JOE ARROYO deja este plano de existencia dejando tras de si un legado que nos obliga a pedir por él, no un minuto de silencio, sino todo lo contrario, toda una vida de aplausos, alegría y baile en nombre de tan excelente músico.  Debo confesar que tengo una adicción: "soy adicto a las cosas bien hechas".  Y aunque no me la paso escuchando con frecuencia la música tropical, se distinguir muy bien cuándo algo está hecho con excelencia, y ese es el caso de la música del JOE.  Todas esas canciones me transportan a la niñez y la adolescencia, a los fines de año con mi familia, a una época de promesas, de descubrimiento, de sueños.  Allí estuve sentado en frente del televisor, viendo el "Show de Jimmy" y al Joe con sus maravillosos éxitos.  Lo que Joe Arroyo ha dejado, es un legado de música que es inmortal, que nunca pasará de moda.  Y a su manera, pudo cumplir su sueño de morir en escena, gracias a la novela que en su nombre ven los colombianos en sus televisores.  JOE INMORTAL, por siempre con nosotros con tu legado musical, y que sea propiamente la música la que siga hablando ahora.  Abajo, sus videos "LA REBELIÓN" y "TE QUIERO MÁS".
